One of the most exciting things about essential oils is that there are so many types available. Ironically, one of the most stressful things about them is ….there ARE so many!
A great solution to this dilemma is samples! There are a number of reputable essential oil companies that offer samples. However, sample size varies by company, ranging from a few drops to a dram.
Wondering if samples are a good idea for you? Here are six reasons that they may be just what you need.
You want to try a larger variety of essential oils for the first time without blowing your budget.
You need a only a small amount of an oil for a recipe, and it’s an oil that you do not intend to use regularly or it’s very expensive.
Speaking of expensive, you are eager to experience the essential oils of which dreams are made such as Neroli, Rose Otto, Melissa or Sandalwood before deciding if it is worth paying premium prices.
You want to take a professional aromatherapy course, and the supply list cost almost as much as the tuition. Yikes!
You want to compare an essential oil of the same species, but grown in different countries.
You want to compare essential oils of that come in several different varieties such as Eucalyptus, Lavender or Melaleuca.
One additional tip: Sample bottles many not have orifice reducers, so pick up a few glass droppers or pipettes from the company’s accessory line to help you count your drops as you use them.
